Awesome web site! I wonder what Grandpa Kelly would think of the high technology, pleased I'm sure! Thank you Msgr. Borne for your support and dedication to the Faith Community at St Ann's Parish. I will continue to remember and pray for all of you during my weekly Eucharistic Adoration hour here in Pinckney, Michigan. Lord willing,I will see you all this summer and take my place working where designated. Peace.

My name is Erin Griffin, I am from the Kelly clan. My grandfather is the late Thomas Kelly and my mother is Catherine(Kate) Bozek(Kelly). I had some wonderful childhood memories at the Pilgrimage. It has been many years since I have been there for it, but I hope to bring my children up there for the Pilgrimage one day soon. I currently live in Oklahoma and I would like my children to experience the gathering of families from all over, just to be apart of something wonderful, and spiritual.

I first visited this site in May, 2007, looking for the grave of my great great grandfather, Martin Roche, which I found,(near the fence, south-west corner). He died, Sept 2, 1891.
The church is beautiful as is the cemetery. Thankyou for the sign indicating July 29, 2007 as the date for this year's pilgrimage. I will be there, God willing. July 29, by the way, is the feast day of Saint Martha. We will be doubly blessed. I will pray for all attending in my weekly Adoration Hour at St Francis Xavier Adoration Chapel in Tottenham, Ontario.

Well done.

Hello Everyone:

I am the daughter of Ken Kilby (grandparents Tom Kilby and Margaret Dwyer) of Lake Clear and Agnes Shirley (grandparents Paddy Shirley and Bridget (Jet) O'Connor) of Cormac, Ontario.

I currently live in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario with my two sisters, Colleen Kilby and Kathy Fiacconi and our children.

There has not been a "last Sunday In July" that the Pilgrimage has not been in my thoughts and prayers. When we kids were small we went to Cormac and Lake Clear every summer. I have attended many, many Pilgrimages and worked at almost as many. I went to all the different "bees" for sandwich makeing etc. etc. I worked almost every booth they had - coffee, tea, milk and pop, sandwiches and other baked goods, ice cream booth etc.

I wish I could have been there this year but I am making plans to attend the 70th next year.

I would like to say hello to all who still reside there - I'm likely related to half of you through the Shirley, Kilby, Dunnigan, Kelly, Harrington, Dwyer, and Foran families.

I hope this year's Pilgrimage was a terrific success in all ways. I hope the prayers and requests of all were answered.

See you next year.

Margaret Anne Kilby-Bennett
Yes it is the faith of the parishioners of St Ann's Cormac that has kept the pilgrimage running these past seventy yaers. I am a descendant of those pioneers, Martin Roche Michael Roche Elizabeth Roche on one side John Ryan Bridget Collins, Daniel Ryan m Ellizabeth Roche and my Dad Josesph Ryan were born in Cormac. My uncle Martin helped Mic Roche in his droving buisness and was responsible with George Holly for putting out signs to direct people to Cormac for the pilgrimages in those early days.
When one comes down the Foymount Road in the Fall of the year, it makes you wonder how they have done it. The peace of the strine area is there and the graces that St Ann would like to impart are there for the asking. Someday, I will make a visit for the Mass League Masses. And hopefully encourage my brothers, sister anc Cousins to visit the Shrine on the "Last Sunday of July." some year.

The outdoor music at mass is outstanding. The choir and young organist provide a very uplifting sound that I always enjoy. This is always a part of the pilgrimage I look forward to.
